Orb at the top of the stairs

Took these  pic after my cat started acting funny, she then proceeded to just sit at the bottom of the stairs looking up when no one was up there.  It was taken with a Creative PC Cam.  Just wantedto put them out there to see what anyone thought of them.

Very interesting, does your home have alot of activity?

It doesn't happen all the time, but  there are strange things that do happen.   For instance things flying off of tables or the television.  Doors opening by themselves, which really scared my youngest daughter.  She is very creeped out by our basement and refuses to go down there by herself.   Also when I was doing laundry one day I looked up and saw a shadow move away from the door.   I questioned everyone in the house but they where all in differnt parts of the house when that happened.  So yeah there is some activity, and I believe it's just to let us know that something is there but it hasn't caused us any harm or scared us badly in anyway.  Also our cat will act strange at times.

Have you considered trying to record EVP?

Sometimes it can help to understand who is there and why.

Since it hasnt done anything violent or scared you too badly, it may welcome the chance to communicate with you.

Have you done an EMF sweep ?

Especially in the basement.

This would not account for the shadow you saw but could possibly explain some of the dicomfort felt there.

Also, I would be wary of the orbs due to the fact of the  nature of drafts created by stairways.

Good point Shadow! Orbs are funny I do beleave in a true orb I feel its a forum of engery, but that dont mean the place is haunted IMO. it just could be a spirit trying to show its self and that may be all that there is to it. you may not get anything else.
